I COULD NOT CARE LESS....

I have many pet peeves but one that really gets me is, "I could care less". Let me break this down for you. Saying I could care less by definition means that you care, regardless of the magnitude of your caring, you do in fact care.
The proper wording is as follows, "I could not care less" or for those pressed for time, "I couldn't care less. The later will of course save you little to no time if you are typing or texting your disregard for whatever situation you are involved in.
