I'll Be Back...........

I know my fans have been missing me over the past few months, but I will be back soon. It has been a crazy few months. Being on the campaign trail with Obama was grueling. But now that we are assured at least 4 years of increasing government intervention I have some time to relax....

*Okay, government intervention may not increase but it sure as hell won't decrease!

Blog Traffic......(Caution bitterness ahead)

“I was inspired by I Help You Blog’s “101 Great Posting Ideas For Your Blog” to write this post about my blog traffic.”

I have been posting to my blog now since August of '05. Including the post that is currently being created for the enjoyment of my faithful readers. I have written 90 post. My blog is about life, pop culture, thoughts, top # lists, etc. which means my reader base should be wider than that of say, a niche blog.
If you Google my name I have three hits on the first page, including the top hit. If you Goggle Mcleansville and blogger, bam!! my blogger profile is sixth. So you must be thinking....this guy must be racking in some major traffic and you would be absolutely correct in this thinking, if you consider my wife, my mom, and Kevin to be the amount of traffic you have always dreamed that your blog would bring in.
I average about one comment per 6 posts. I have had three people sign my guest book. I use Google Analytics and according to my stats I haven't had one page view since last week.
I do your basic blog traffic "strategies" meaning I comment on other blogger's posts, I am a member of several local blog sites, I "claimed" my blog at Technorati I even have a link to my blog at the bottom of my email responses. To no avail my blog is still just a diary I should hide under my bed, at least then people would be curious as to what it says.
I will continue to blog with all my might regardless of my stats because I blog for me not for you unless you want me blog for you in which case I blog for you not for me.............
