FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 1985....

I made a conscience decision this Christmas.
The decision was to not watch "A Christmas Story". It was a bold move I know but I felt it needed to be done. Yes I know what you are thinking, don't turn on the TV Eddie, bam its that easy. No it is not! I travel during the Holidays and am subject to the viewing whims of other people. Due to this fact my journey was not a total success. At the end of my adventure I had watched about one and a half minutes of my 2007 Christmas nemesis.
Next year I am taking on Rudolph and Frosty. A feat that has not been attempted since 1974 and led to, as you know, six deaths in Kentucky.

TO MY DEMOCRAT FRIENDS.....

To all my Democrat friends:

Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes
for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress,
non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice
holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious
persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for
the religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions of others, or their
choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all. I also wish you
a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated
recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2008,
but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures
whose contributions to society have helped make America great . Not to imply
that America is necessarily greater than any other country nor the only
America in the Western Hemisphere. Also, this wish is made without regard to the
race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual
preference of the wisher.

To all my Republican friends:
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Dear Robby Takac,

Robby, hey its Eddie, I saw you last night on the TV. You were playing a live show in Breckenridge, Colorado. I thought, hey I remember the Goo Goo Dolls , they were a
"pop band"
in the 90's.

That being said let me tell you something Robby, you are the bass player for the GGDs, not Skid Row.

For those about to rock I solute you, but I do not solute you if you only appear to rock but are in fact not. Don't get me wrong you look like you could rock your socks off, although I here sometimes you don't were socks. That's probably because they got rocked off. My issue is that you are not in a rock band, you are in a pop band, so you should only be popping.

Please tone it down a tad Rob, I would appreciate it.

Directed by: D.J. Caruso
Starring: Shia LaBeouf, Sarah Romer, Carrie-Anne Moss, and David Morse

Disturbia has a great plot, Shia is a future superstar and David Morse is always fantastic.
Very suspenseful.
